Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had slight white and itchy spots on the tip of my penis and the area below it. Also, I noticed a whitish layer around the pee hole a week back, which goes off after bathing. I am not sexually active too. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. It looks like candidal balanoposthitis (attachment removed to protect the patient’s identity), a kind of superficial fungal infection. Therefore, I would suggest the following medicines. Take Tablet AF-150 (Fluconazole) one tablet per week for two weeks after meals, Tablet Levosiz (Levocetirizine) 5 mg once daily after dinner, use Candid (Clotrimazole)cream apply twice daily. Take Capsule Syntran-SB (Itraconazole) 65 mg twice daily for five days after meals. Follow this for ten days and get your blood sugar test done. If you are sexually active, I suggest treating your partner too. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
