Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had contracted gonorrhea on my first sexual encounter. So, I self-injected myself with one gram of Ceftriaxone. I had also taken a tablet of Doxycycline for over a week. But, now I feel a tickling sensation in my penis for more than a week. Why so? Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. I went through your query and understood your concern. I suggest you not to take any self-medications. The drugs have to be taken only after a doctor's prescription. I suggest you do a urine culture test and urine sensitivity test to exclude any infection in the urinary tract if present. Also, I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned. 1. Drink lots of water and juices. 2. Keep your genitals clean and dry. 3. Wear loose cotton undergarments. I hope this has helped you. Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
