How can cherry angiomas be treated?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have cherry angiomas all over my stomach. Is there a natural way to get rid of them? I am on Lisinopril. I am currently working as a contractor and cannot see a dermatologist. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations?

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

Well, cherry angioma is mainly due to exposure to the sun. It is more common in middle age to old age people. Frankly speaking, there is no cream or tablet to get rid of it. It can occur in any part of the body due to rupture of blood vessels. The only treatment for cherry angioma is pulsed dye laser carried out by an expert dermatologist.

Thank you for consulting me.
