Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My mom has been experiencing chest discomfort for three years now. She already tested normal for the angiogram, but the chest discomfort is persistent. This discomfort is on the left part of her chest. Recently, she also developed skin rashes beneath her skin. We are worried that it may be related to her chest discomfort. She says that it is not painful. We went to every doctor available in our area and got medications, but the pain was still persistent. She was also diagnosed with GERD and had an endoscopy. There were minimal benign polyps, and she had to take certain medications again. She is also a vegetarian. Still, the chest discomfort did not stop. Please help.

Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Get physically examined by a treating doctor and take the said medicine or precautions in advance. Keep yourself hydrated. Maintain a strict posture. Rule out cervical spondylitis and get an X-ray of the cervical spine. Avoid stress-strain exertion, lifting heavy weights, and rigorous exercise. Avoid fried, oily, junk alcohol, and spicy foods.

Kindly answer the following questions:

  1. Is she suffering from gastritis?
  2. When was the last menstrual cycle?
  3. Are the menses regular?
  4. Make sure anxiety is under control as this can exacerbate the symptoms.
  5. Rule out any cardiac or lung involvement.
  6. Please get your rashes examined by a dermatologist or share pictures here.
  7. Please get physically reviewed to understand the current status of the polyps. Have they grown bigger or smaller?
  8. I hope this information will help you.

    Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
