Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

About a week ago, my chest issues emerged alongside extreme fatigue, requiring 10 hours of nightly sleep and multiple daytime naps. I am experiencing constant chest pain intensified by leaning forward or standing, coupled with a severe headache above my right eye for three days. I have received positive ANA, elevated sedimentation rate, and CRP, along with a high blood pressure reading (previously low blood pressure throughout life). Currently, I suffer from ongoing chest pain that persists for a week, becoming more intense upon standing, and my pulse spikes to 120 to 140 beats per minute just from standing up. I have also suffered constant breathlessness, and I have nearly fainted twice. Please help.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I suggest you may have systemic lupus erythematosus (a chronic autoimmune disease) affecting your coronary arteries, leading to an inflammatory reaction and potential cardiogenic shock, a critical condition where the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's demands. Also, I suggest undergoing ECHO (echocardiogram), ECG (electrocardiogram), and cardiac MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) and sharing the results as soon as possible.

I hope this helps.

Kindly revert in case of any further queries so I can assist you further.

Thank you.
