Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query.

I have a few questions.

1. Since how long it has been like this?

2. Is there any discharge or stickiness?

3. Are you suffering from a sore throat, cold, or fever?

4. Is it one eye or both eyes?

Kindly update us with the answers.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for replying.

My one eye is affected. There is no sore throat or any other symptoms. Some dried-up brown discharge is coming from the eye since morning.

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Shikha Gupta

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It seems to be conjunctivitis. So, I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.

1. Use lubricant eye drops frequently.

2. Do not rub your eyes.

3. Use protective glasses.

4. Use Moxifloxacin (antibiotic) eye drops four times daily for one week.

5. Use an eye ointment Ocupol (Chloramphenicol and Polymyxin B) before sleeping inside the eye for two weeks.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
