Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My daughter scratched my eye pretty deeply three weeks ago. I had a few appointments, told me it was healing nicely, and only a tiny scratch was left. It has been two weeks since then, and my vision is still very blurry. I have a slight double vision. Still have light sensitivity and can not drive at all at night. My eye feels irritated constantly, and I have been getting headaches daily. What do I need to do? I am currently taking birth control pills.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of epithelial erosion. I suggest, cold compresses.Use lubricating eyedrop frequently like Carboxymethylcellulose. Soft steroids like Fluorometholone can be used in case of inflammation in the eye. It is a provisional diagnosis. Kindly share images of your eye so that I may guide you better. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
