Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 25-years-old, and I weigh 176 lbs.

I am physically weak, exhausted, cannot sit-stand or walk for a long time. I am sensitive to heat and feel dehydrated, and I have frequently had muscle stiffness and cramps for two years.

It started from pain and inflammation near the occipital and temporal bone accompanied by nerve pain seven years ago. It has progressed to this point. I have tried many medications, but nothing seems to work. Currently, I am taking tablets Beplex forte and Vitamin C.

I have also attached a copy of the reports below. Could you help me figure out what is wrong with me?

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your reports (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity).

Physical weakness and fatigue can be due to vitamin deficiencies, anxiety, and stress disorders. It can also be due to diabetes, hypothyroidism, and hypertension. For vitamin deficiencies, you should take tablet ME-12 OD (Methylcobalamin, Vitamin B6 [Pyridoxine] and Folic acid) and tablet Supradyn (multivitamins). You can continue to take Vitamin C tablets.

Take low-dose anti-depressants like tablet Duloxetine 20 mg at night for anxiety and stress disorders. Diabetes and hypertension are out as your blood pressure, and RBS (random blood sugar) are normal. The last thing left is hypothyroidism. Get TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone), T3 (triiodothyronine), and T4 (thyroxine) levels checked. Get adequate rest and take these medications for two weeks, and you will feel much better.

Hope this helps. Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
