Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 25 years old. My serum creatinine is now 1.3 mg/dl, which was 0.98 mg/dl one year ago and 1.2 mg/dl before six months. Do I need to be worried?

Yes, definitely there is a need to worry.
I need to know whether you have high blood pressure or diabetes. Also for what reason did you check your creatinine?
Do you have a history of painkiller abuse?
Have you got your urine test and ultrasound done?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
My blood pressure is currently 134/90 mmHg. I did these tests as a normal checkup. I did not test my urine. I have no diabetes. My report shows that the normal range of serum creatinine is 0.6 to 1.5 mg/dl. Is that right? Should I consult a nephrologist now?
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
There is a progressive rise in serum creatinine level. This can happen if the laboratories are different. Get your tests repeated from an authentic laboratory and also get your ultrasound abdomen as well as urine test done.
