Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 32 years old and suffering from PE. One medical practitioner suggested taking Dapoxetine 30 mg. I want to know how long I should take it. Do I need to take it daily or only on the day of intercourse? Are there any side effects?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is indicated only one hour prior to sexual activity and not to be taken daily. So basically, it is used when required. Side effects are nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache.

I would like to inform you that nonmedical management of premature ejaculation is equally important as drug management, which includes start-stop technique or squeeze technique, or coitus interruption. You can search for them on the internet and try to practice one of them as the result of these are long-lasting.

I hope this helps you.
