What can be done for tiny bumps on face and dark circles?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had small tiny bumps (not pimples) all over my face. Also, I had dark circles with puffiness under my eyes. Please provide me some home remedies or methods to cure these problems.

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

Inadequate water intake can sometimes lead to the occurrence of bumps over the skin and dark circles. I recommend that you increase your fluid intake to at least two liters daily. Sometimes, Vitamin A deficiency can cause similar symptoms. This can be replenished by eating food rich in Vitamin A like carrots, red peppers, spinach, mango, muskmelon, watermelon, papaya, and guava. If you are a non-vegetarian, eggs, lamb liver, salmon and tuna are good sources. Stress and lack of sleep can also lead to dark circles. So, try meditation and regulate the sleep cycle. Sleep and wake up at the same time daily. If there is no change after one month, meet a doctor personally for a clinical examination.

Thank you for consulting me.
