Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had a pimple on my upper lip for the last three weeks. When I went for laser treatment to remove my beard, the pimple got burnt, and my skin in that area turned dark brown. How do I remove the dark spot on my upper lip?

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I suggest you use cream 1 % Hydrocortisone twice daily for seven days. Then, you can start using cream Hydroquinone 2 % in small quantities only at night. It can cause a burning sensation when used in excess or during the daytime. (Consult a specialist doctor, talk to him or her, and start the medicines with their consent).

It will take time to heal, so have patience. It will also help if you share a picture so I can better guide you.

I hope this helps.

Take care.
