Dark Underarms

Dark underarms may or may not be associated with itching and foul odor. It is most commonly due to a condition called acanthosis nigricans. Other causes include diabetes, obesity, certain medications (contraceptive pills, steroid, insulin), hormonal imbalance due to PCOD (polycystic ovary disease), Cushing's syndrome, hypothyroidism, etc.
