Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I would like to know whether you are sexually active or not. If yes, get a urine pregnancy test done, and according to the result, only we can manage further. If negative, I would suggest some medicines to induce periods.

As this is the first time you face this problem, there is no need to get any other tests done. After pregnancy, the most common causes of delayed periods are lifestyle changes, such as changes in eating habits, exercise routine, sleep pattern, environment, or stress. All these things can lead to irregular periods, and this is transient only and is usually corrected within two to three months after removing the causative factor.

Kindly revert for more queries.

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply, doctor.

My pregnancy test is negative, and I am not sexually active for the past three to four months.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I would suggest you wait for another two days. Still, if you do not get your periods, I suggest tablet Meprate (Medroxyprogesterone) 10 mg twice daily for five days. You will get your periods on discontinuing the medicine within three to five days.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
