Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from extreme breast swelling and some period spots. But my periods are delayed. I did a pregnancy test twice which came negative.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

I suggest you do a serum beta HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy. Breast engorgement and abdominal cramps could be either premenstrual syndrome or early pregnancy symptoms. Urine pregnancy test in early pregnancy is unable to detect pregnancy hormones. In case of heavy bleeding, abdominal pain, dizziness, and fainting, immediately report to the hospital. If the pregnancy test comes positive better to repeat it after 48 hrs.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
