Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

We have been trying to conceive for the past year. However, I am suffering from delayed period symptoms. There is cramping in my lower abdomen, mood swings, and feel constipated. However, there is no spot bleeding. When will I get my period?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

If you are suffering from the same symptoms in every cycle, it suggests a hormonal imbalance and premenstrual syndrome. But if you felt these symptoms only in this cycle and have been trying for conception for more than a year, I suggest you do a serum beta HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) immediately. If the beta HCG levels come between 5 to 50 milli-international units per milliliter, it means you are in the third week of pregnancy post-fertilization.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
