Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

A few months ago I had a lot of arguments with my family, especially with my mom. Right now, I am staying at my cousin's house because my mom's new boyfriend kicked me out of the house. So now this last month and this month I started to feel tired and frustrated. I feel like I do not exist and I am not important. I am depressed. Even at school when I talked with my friends sometimes I feel like they did not listen to me or they are annoyed with me which made me feel grumpy. If I have a problem or worry about something (for example, exam in school) I do not feel like I want to tell or talk to my cousin about it. When my cousin talks to me, I feel like not responding back to them because I am bored. Sometimes I just cry, and sometimes I feel that my mom does not love me. By the way, I am (acted) happy sometimes but inside my heart, I still feel that I do not exist.

I am so scared why I am being like this?

Will anything happen to me?

Please help me.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Stay positive and try to think positive. I can understand very well that you are having a lot of social stressors and you are unable to vent out your feeling to other people which is causing you distress. The symptoms you described are of mild depression but in your case, I would suggest you go for cognitive behavioral therapy rather than just straight away taking any medication. You have kept a lot of things within yourself that you need to vent out so proper CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) will help you a lot. I would suggest you take a few consultation sessions which will surely help you to come out of your situation and enjoy the wonderful world.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
