Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing persistent feelings of depression for the past two weeks, which eventually led to hospitalization. Upon discharge, I noticed a period of emotional numbness. Gradually, over the next few weeks, my emotions began to return. However, recently, I experienced a severe episode of depression. I struggled with sleep, frequently waking up throughout the night. Over the past three to four days, I have been unusually hyper until today. This morning, I was exceptionally energetic, followed by sudden fatigue, depression, and anger. I am finding it challenging to comprehend these sudden shifts in my emotional state. Please help.
