Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

There is pain on the left side of the stomach and lower back, and the skin feels sore. There is also a lot of burping these days now. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

From your symptoms, it seems you are suffering from diverticulitis.

The differential diagnosis is urinary tract infection.

This can frequently occur in the elderly or people who do not eat enough fiber in their diet.

Also, with age, our digestive system tends to get slow.

It would be best if you had prescription antibiotics to treat this condition.

Also, suppose you develop other symptoms like rectal bleeding, fever, unexplained weight loss, or burning pain during urination. In that case, you need to see your healthcare provider immediately to rule out other conditions.

Usually, diverticulitis subsides within a few days with medication.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
