Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am diagnosed with left shoulder dyskinesia (winging). A brief history of diagnostic examinations provided by my physician is given below: The patient complains of pain in the left shoulder blade. The left shoulder from the front is not visually altered. From behind, it shows marked signs of blade dyskinesia. The blade does not fit close to the chest bend. In terms of sensation, the distal pulse is not disturbed. There is a full range of motion and clinically absolute stable. Earlier, I was taking half Nimesil 100 mg packet for ten days when in pain. Could you recommend any exercises, please? Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinq.com.

The important thing to realize about dyskinesia is that it is a dynamic condition, and I need to examine you to be sure what may be wrong. The involved muscles are the trapezius, subscapularis, and latissimus dorsi, apart from some smaller muscles. Incoordination between these may lead to dyskinesia. Winging can be because of subscapularis or trapezius. It may be because of nerve injury or muscle weakness. I hope it helped you.

Thank you.
