Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
For the past two days, I have been having pain under my armpits beside my left breast. The pain sometimes also goes down my arm into my collarbone and sometimes into my shoulder blade. Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
From what you have mentioned, there are many possible causes:
1. It may be an enlarged, inflamed lymph node in your armpit.
2. It can be musculoskeletal pain.
3. It can be a pain due to heart problems.
So please provide me with answers in order to reach the appropriate diagnosis-
1. Is the pain related to efforts like walking or running?
2. Are there certain movements that trigger the pain?
3. Have you noticed any swellings in your armpit?
4. Do you have any fever?
Most likely, this is a benign condition, but we have to exclude serious causes as well.
