Hello doctor,
I am diagnosed with an epididymal cyst on my left testicle and varicose vein on the right side. I do not have any pain and other discomforts except for the feeling of heaviness. Sometimes there is a mild disturbing feeling on the right side. Even though the doctor told me to go for surgery as there are no other treatments, I could not due to lockdown and present restrictions. Further, I am afraid of COVID infection from the hospital. Kindly advise me if I can pull on until the present COVID threat is eased out for performing the surgery.

Your complaint and ultrasound scrotum noted (attachment removed to protect patient identity). 3 cm epididymal cyst on the left and grade 1 varicocele on the right. Well, actually it is not urgent to treat the issue now. For the right side, grade 1 varicocele it is not urgent at all for the epididymal cyst. It is large but if it does not really pain you can also wait until the situation with COVID 19 gets better. Medications other than pain relief will not help as this problem require a small surgery. So you definitely can wait until the situation is better. You can take Brufen 400 mg for pain not more than three times a day with Omeprazole capsule 20 mg once at night.
