Hello doctor,
A year ago I had a pimple close to my eye area and it ended up becoming swollen and feverish to the point my eye was sealed shut. My doctor put me on antibiotics. Now I am having the same problem but in my chin area. I have this little hole that is purple looking with puss-like matter trying to come out. My whole chin area is swollen all the way to my lips and down and it hurts so bad that I think I have a staphylococcus infection but I am not sure. I cleaned it with peroxide and alcohol and kept a bandaid over it. I would just like a medical opinion on what to do if I can treat it over the counter, or if I need antibiotics. Can you prescribe me some medications? Kindly suggest.

Your history and images (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) are more in favor of furuncle or infected acne. This is probably because of bacterial infection. As it is located over d face, it is advisable to treat it with a course of oral antibiotics. Kindly mention if ur a diabetic, if you repeatedly keep rubbing your face or pricking your nose, and if you are on any other medication.
