Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My daughter is 6 years old (weighing 24 kilograms) and she is suffering from a cough (four to five days) followed by a fever (three days). Her fever is in the 101.5 degrees Fahrenheit range. But sometimes it goes down as well. We have been administering Crocin for three days. So, is it advisable to continue with Crocin?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Yes, you can continue with Crocin (Paracetamol and Caffeine). But she also needs antibiotics along with that. So please administer the following course,

Take tablet Taxim (Cefixime and Ofloxacin) 100 mg in the morning and evening for five days, Syrup Relent (Cetrizine and Ambroxol) 7 ml thrice a day for one week and tablet Paracetamol 650 mg half tablet every four hours for five days.

Please feel free to contact me for any further queries.

Thank you.
