Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am in the process of getting ready for a dental bridge, a total of seven teeth order of porcelain fused and then a crown, etc. Now, tomorrow I am supposed to get a temporary bridge. I got a call today that they are going to prepare my teeth tomorrow and go ahead and do permanent bridge but the price is still the same. Does this sound correct? I was charged including a temporary bridge but now I am not getting one, just permanent.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your temporary bridge was just for the time being that your dentist might have thought permanent will take time for fabrication, so temporary was only for your comfort and esthetic issues.

Temporary is generally given if there is a delay in permanent and to check if the patient will be comfortable with the size, color and all or not. It is good that your permanent bridge has been fabricated before time, you just need to take this much care that when tomorrow before fixing permanent finally you will be asked by fitting it in your mouth if it is proper in size and comfortable or not, so be very fair to yourself and your dentist and do tell him or her whatever you feel so after that it will be their duty to fix it up whatever problem may arise.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
