Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My age is 18 years. Few days before I do not know somehow I had forgotten many easy spellings of those that I knew well before. And I have my HS examination on in a few days. Please tell me what shall I do to solve my problems.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read through your complaints. It looks like absent-mindedness which is common in old age. But at a young age, it is not so common what I would advise is get me some basic blood investigations. Complete blood count, kidney function test, liver function test, and urine routine examination, serum vitamin B12, folic acid, and vitamin D. With that, I will be able to assess you what has been going. In the meantime, I would advise you to eat healthily, eat green leafy vegetables. A green leafy vegetable called Brahmi leaves help to improve your memory power and also reduces your absent-mindedness.

Any fruits or any food that is rich in DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) most importantly I want you to eat dry fruits that includes walnut, pista, almonds, cashews and whichever you like got a more amount of DHA that improve your nerve functions in your brain and it indirectly helps you remember things rather than forgetting things.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
