Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing foul smelling yellowish-green discharge from my vagina. I am pretty sure it is a sign of something bad. I am just not sure. What should be done? Kindly suggest.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I would need some more information about you. It is better to have complete treatment for any health issue like thyroid, diabetes, and others. Have a balanced diet, weight, and BMI (body mass index). Walk, do yoga, and exercise daily. Include plenty of water, more fruits, and juice in your diet. Have an antibiotics course to avoid infection. Take tablet Metronidazole 400 mg every eight hours for seven to ten days and tablet Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for ten days. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medications with their consent. Avoid cosmetics or any beauty product locally. Wear soft and clean undergarments.
Thank you.
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
Investigations to be done:High vaginal swab (HVS).
Probable diagnosis:Perineal infection.
