Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have brown skin and flat, brown irregular, disc-like freckles on both sides of my face and the cheek area. How do I get rid of it or lighten it significantly? My face looks horrible, and I am also losing my self-confidence. Will peels help? If yes, what kind of peel should I get done?

Will photofacial be beneficial, or is it not meant for darker skin tones? I have been to a few laser centers, and they said they do not have lasers for darker skin. Do home remedies like lemon juice will help? What should I do?

Please advise. I can send pictures as well.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I suggest you to do the following and consult a specialist.

  • Please try to wear sunblock with SPF (sun protection factor) 30 almost 20 minutes before exposure to sunlight and repeat after every two to three hours as it gets wasted or washed away.
  • Apply vitamin C serum at night.
  • Take capsule Perfectil plus.
  • Seek laser or fulguration.
  • Please do not apply anything at home.
  • I hope this information will help.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
