Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have an infection in my groin area and it more likely seems to be a fungal or ringworm infection. I took the tablet Fluconazole, and it disappeared but again I experienced a recurrence. Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I appreciate the confidence that you place in me for your health care consultation.

Frankly speaking, many things may look like fungal infections while actually they are not. Were you diagnosed by a doctor? Please tell me the dose of the tablet Fluconazole that you took and how many tablets did you take. Did you apply any medicine topically? If you could send me some photographs, I will be able to help you in a proper manner because if it is a recurrent fungal infection as you had mentioned, then taking the tablet Fluconazole will not work.

I hope you had a pleasant experience at icliniq.

Thank you.
