If it progresses, it may lead to phimosis and the inability to retract the foreskin completely. It may also cause a narrowing of the urinary opening or a narrowing of part of the urine tube (stricture). Most cases do not progress further. If, in the future, the foreskin causes problems, you can get circumcision done. If the urine tube becomes narrow, it can be dealt with. Currently, you can apply simple moisturizer as needed. Please get your blood sugar levels checked to rule out diabetes. Tacrolimus cream, if available, can be applied over itchy areas (may prevent progression).
