Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from a fungal infection on my skin for the past five months. I have used Onabet cream, Lulibet cream, and Dermi5 cream previously and currently using Onabet cream and Itaspore tablets. I have consulted many doctors and have spent a lot of money, but it is not getting cured. Kindly suggest medications that can cure it in 10 to 15 days.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Fungal infections can be difficult to treat at times. The Lulibet (Luliconazole) cream which you have been using contains steroids and that is the reason for the infection not being cured completely and so stop using the cream.

I advise you to follow the below-mentioned instructions:

  1. Use Fungicross (Amorolfine) cream.
  2. Do not keep the area wet. Use powder frequently to keep it dry.
  3. Avoid itching and do not scratch it.
  4. Change the undergarments regularly.
  5. Do not apply any general or steroid cream like Betnovate.
  6. Do not stop the medicine once you cure. Continue using the medication for a long time to completely kill the fungal infection.
  7. Avoid excessive sweating and wet clothes.
  8. Check diabetes and thyroid levels.
  9. Kindly attach a photo to evaluate and help you better.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
