Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have cracked feet with a bad smell and redness at the bottom of the feet. I have used antifungal cream Terbinafine Hydrochloride one percent solution and others but I could not see any changes. The smell is still there. Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. According to your descriptions, it seems like you have Plantar hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating is one of the common disorders of sweat glands. I suggest you use Aluminum Chloride (Aldry or Alclor) lotion twice daily for two to three months which can be applied locally. Other alternatives such as Iontophoresis or Botulinum toxin type A, intradermal injection can be used for the focal area and are effective for two to eight months per sitting of treatment.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
