Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for writing in, and I understand your concern.

As per the information you shared, you must be suffering from acute gastroenteritis. This is the infection of the gut. It is due to this you do not feel like eating. I saw the photograph attached (attachments were removed to protect the patient's identity); tablet Lomotil (Diphenoxylate and Atropine) only helps in the partial treatment of this condition. That is why you do not have any relief with this medication. I suggest you take the following medications for five days;

a) Tablet Oflox OZ (Oflaxacin and Ornidazole) twice daily.

b) Tablet Vizylac Rich 1 twice daily.

c) Tablet Redotil (Racecadotril) 100 mg thrice daily.

d) Tablet Imodium (Loperamide) 4 mg STAT.

e) ORS (oral rehydration solution) 4.5 cups.

Make sure you keep your body hydrated as loose motions and vomiting suck out all the water in the body, making you lethargic and weak. I hope you find the reply useful.
