Hi doctor,

I am having some sort of infection in my inner penis. The doctor suggested AF-KIT and SURFAZ-SN cream (Betamethasone, Neomycin, and Clotrimazole), but it has been there for the last 20 days.

Please suggest.

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I met with a doctor, and he prescribed me Valtoval 500 (Valacyclovir) twice a day and a Herpex 5 tube (Aciclovir). But after applying Herpex tube the area become redder. The doctor said it is not because of the tube. I am having this medicine from the last three days but no positive result came. Please consult. I am uploading my previous picture before using this medicine and current picture after using this medicine.

I read and understand your concern.

Your doctor's prescription is absolutely correct. This is herpes indeed. The redness is because of the infection itself and not the tube. Three days is a very minimal time to show the response. Follow your doctor's instructions properly and please go for your follow up consult even if the lesion completely disappears. I think there is no need to change your treating doctor.
