Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have two complaints to ask you. I have a low back pain near my left hip for the past two days. It occurred due to cold weather. Kindly suggest a remedy to have some relief. I have some gastric problem between naval and chest for a day. I took jeera and fenugreek. I got some relief but it was not complete. Kindly suggest some remedies.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Regarding your first complaint, please mention whether you have a burning sensation while you urinate or any fever. If not, then I suggest you apply TRP gel (Diclofenac, Linseed oil, Menthol, and Methyl salicylate) or Volini gel (Diclofenac diethylamine, Methyl salicylate, Menthol, and Linseed oil) over the area to have some relief. If your pain does not subside, then you can take tablet Ultracet (Paracetamol with Tramadol) once daily. Keep the area warm and do some moderate exercise on the affected region. Your second complaint seems to be due to gastric reflux. Please mention whether this pain gets decreased when you lean forwards. I suggest you take tablet Pantocid 40 mg (Pantoprazole) once daily for half an hour before food. It is important to take it before half an hour of having food to have its efficient effects.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I do not have any burning sensation when I urinate and I do not have fever. I will try to apply TRP gel or Volini gel. I will take tablet Ultracet as suggested by you. For my second complaint, I am not able to say whether I have pain while leaning as I do not have any constant pain. When this discomfort comes again, I will try to take tablet as suggested by you.
