Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have two concerns:
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Regarding pain in the hip and lower back near your left hip, please let us know if you're also experiencing any burning sensation during urination or if you have a fever. These symptoms can help rule out other possible causes.
If you're not experiencing those, this pain may be musculoskeletal and possibly triggered by cold weather. In that case, I suggest applying either TRP gel (which contains Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Menthol, and Methyl Salicylate) or Volini gel (containing Diclofenac diethylamine, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Linseed Oil) to the affected area for relief.
If the pain persists, you may take Ultracet (a combination of Paracetamol and Tramadol) once daily. Additionally, try to keep the area warm and engage in moderate exercises focused on that region to improve mobility and reduce stiffness.
As for your second concern—gastric discomfort between the chest and navel—this could be related to gastric reflux.
Please let us know if the discomfort improves when you lean forward, as that detail can help clarify the cause.
For now, I recommend taking Pantocid 40 mg (Pantoprazole) once daily, half an hour before meals. It's important to take it on an empty stomach to ensure maximum effectiveness.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
I don’t have any burning when I urinate, and I haven’t had a fever. I’ll try using the TRP gel or Volini gel as you suggested. I’ll also take the Ultracet tablets.
Regarding my second issue, I can’t really say if I feel pain when leaning since I don’t have constant pain. But if the discomfort comes back, I’ll take the tablets as you recommended.
Thank you.

How long should I need to take tablets for my complaints?

You can take Ultracet tablets for three days—it should help relieve your pain soon. Apply TRP gel to the affected area three times a day until the pain goes away. Also, take Pantocid (Pantoprazole) 40 mg once daily before breakfast for ten days.
I hope this helps.
