Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My son is 2 years old and is affected by hand, foot, and mouth disease. He has developed small blisters on his thigh and buttocks, making him difficult to lie on the bed. As I want to give him the best and healthy food, can you suggest any diet for better healing?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a viral infection. I suggest you give soft and easily digestible home-cooked food, fruits, etc., to eat, boiled water to drink and avoid giving junk foods. I also suggest you give antipyretic. Better assessment can be done if you send a picture of the blisters.
