Hi doctor,
I have endometeriosis. I have my periods for three weeks. It is beyond heavy bleeding. It soaks my pad and ultra tampon within an hour. I am having golf-sized clots and massive gushes of blood. I have some cramping also. I am unable to consult a doctor due to COVID-19. I do not know what to do.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Having heavy bleeding for three weeks is really painful and tiring. I want you to know one thing that endometriosis can only be suppressed by taking contraceptive pills continuously. For now, you can take tablet Deviry (Medroxyprogesterone) 10 mg thrice daily for a week followed by twice daily for the next one week. Then, follow it for another one week by taking it once daily and then stop taking it. Check your hemoglobin levels using a hemogram and do an ultrasound. For now, you can take Iron, Folic acid, and vitamin B12 tablets to treat anemia.
