Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My blood pressure consistently ranges from 170/110 mmHg to 190/115 mmHg. My complete blood count report showed a hemoglobin level of 18 g/dL, a platelet count of 150,000 platelets/mcL of blood, an MCH of 26 pg/cell, and the other values were normal.
Please suggest medication.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
You need to undergo a lipid profile test and an ECG (electrocardiogram). Your blood pressure is alarmingly high at 190/115 mmHg, which puts you at risk for organ damage. I typically prescribe a combination of beta-blockers, diuretics, and statins, depending on the results of your lipid profile test. I recommend reducing your salt intake and engaging in regular exercise, as these measures will help improve your cardiovascular health. Please consult a cardiologist for a physical evaluation; a thorough examination is necessary to assess the exact state of your cardiovascular health.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reach out in case of further queries.
Thank you.
