Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have noticed undigested food in the stool. Also, I have very slight discomfort in the right armpit. I do not have any other symptoms. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for the query. Why did you go for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) tests? When was the risk of exposure and its details? Please send details for clarification.

The symptoms are non-specific.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

I had protective sex with CSW (Community Sex Worker), as I requested, she tested for the fourth generation, which was negative, and Ag/Ab and western blot were negative. My doubt is whether she is using medicines, so the tests are becoming negative. The sex happened in the dark, so I have fear and took Pep Viropil three months back, and I have taken so many tests in between, like RNA (Ribonucleic acid) and P 24/antigen all are negative. Are the results conclusive or not? I have a digestive problem and little discomfort in the right armpit. I have had no pain in the past 90 days. After pep conclusive, I am very tense.

Hi, Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thank you for the query. The chances of transmitting HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) by single protected intercourse with an HIV-positive person are almost nil if a condom is used in a proper manner. If so, the risk appears nil. If the HIV tests are repeatedly negative and the antibodies test is negative after three months, it is conclusive, provided there is no further risk of exposure. Moreover, you have also taken PEP (Post - exposure Prophylaxis). I do not see any need for further HIV tests. The symptoms are non-specific and need not be due to HIV. It may be due to stress or anxiety, or other causes. You can consult your doctor for examination and management of your symptoms.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

After PEP, I have fat loss in my face and hips. Is this due to the medicine? And I have undigested food in my stool.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It may be due to stress, anxiety, or less intake of food or drugs. Anyway just relax. Forget the episode and get involved in the activities of your interest. Do yoga, meditation and exercises. Have a balanced diet.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
