I had a Brazilian wax. I am on an Apo Doxy 100 mg and Flagyl 400 mg. My friend forced himself on me, and now my inner and outer labia are itching and littered with painful bumps. He used a rough rider condom. I thought it was an allergic reaction. I tried Allegra 180 mg and asked the pharmacist for a rub to ease the itching and swelling. I was given Candid V to use externally. I have no smelly discharge, just itching and bumps. I am attaching pictures of it. Kindly suggest.

I would suggest-
- Use a feminine wash for cleaning private parts.
- Keep the area dry.
- Wear loose cotton underwear
- Use a gentle soap to wash the undergarments.
- Avoid intense exercise.
- If you have recently switched to any new underwear brand, discontinue using it.

The incident happened on Christmas night. All pharmacies were closed, so I only got the Allegra and Candid V gel today and applied it around. I took an Allegra around that same time and just took a Piriton before submitting my query. I have never experienced this kind of situation before. Also, he is a military medic and suggested I get Hydrocortisone or Candid V as he thinks his sweat may have irritated my already sensitive skin (from the waxing and I have sensitive skin in general). He said his sweat could have infected my broken skin. Should I discontinue Candid V and try Hydrocortisone? As soon as the Candid V gel dries or is absorbed by my underwear, the skin itches, and if I touch the area, it feels like I am tearing my skin.

You are taking the right medication. Please keep the area dry and wear loose clothes. No cloth should rub vigorously against the bumps. Avoid intercourse, and if at all involved in intercourse, then use a condom. Wait for one more day to see the response to the current medication before changing it.
