Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

There is a medium bump that looks swollen on my left inner labia, right next to my vagina. It is red and a bit yellowish, and it is itchy. I am not sure when or how it got there or what it is. I just noticed it a few minutes ago because it was itching quite a bit. I am not sure what to do. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

This could be because of hair folliculitis or some vaginal infection that is causing the problem. Please get yourself checked by a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab test done. Avoid having sex till then. Wear cotton inner wears and loose underpants. Maintain personal hygiene and take plenty of fluids. Wash your private parts with normal tap water every time you use the wash room. Avoid using vaginal douches and creams.

Do get back to me with reports so that I can guide you further.

Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
