Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I would like to know what the best method to be followed to get pregnant is?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have seen younreports (attachment removed to protect patient identity).

Infertility may be due to many reasons. Several tests of both partners are done including but not limited to semen analysis, blood tests, ultrasound. Depending on the reports treatment is decided. Sometimes all the reports are normal, it is called unexplained infertility. It is still treated empirically.

You have done only ultrasound test, you need to do blood tests sugar, TSH (thy, roid stimulating hormone), prolactin, husband's semen analysis after two days abstinence.

To improve your fertility, you should take more of fruits and vegetables, cut down on smoking, alcohol, stay away from heat and chemicals, and do not use a laptop on the lap, if you do then put it on a cushion on your lap. Also, if obese then you should reduce weight but do not take formulas. Also, do sex on every alternate days throughout the month except during periods.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

We are looking for the best method to conceive. We are trying in missionary to get sperms inside. Also, we are trying home insemination. Collecting sperms in a syringe and putting in the vagina without hurting it. All sperms go inside without any issues. Is that a good method to try? Is it possible to conceive by this method?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Whatever position you do for sex does not matter. Semen contains millions of invisible sperms. These sperms fertilize the eggs. After sex, the sperms remain inside the vagina, they swim like fish deep inside and the liquid semen comes out of the vagina. It is not a problem. It is like a vehicle unloading the goods and return, semen is a vehicle for sperms.

So if you can do sex, then you do not need a syringe. Sex is better than doing it with a syringe. There is no best method like that, it is a myth only. If both yours and husband's reports are normal, then it is a matter of time only.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
