Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My 7-month-old child has rashes on the sacrum and intercrural area for five days. It is persisting on the sacrum, reddening more in the intercrural area. There is a bubbly type appearance. I have been avoiding diapers for five days. He has been prescribed a Fusidic acid cream. I have attached pictures for your reference.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the attachments (attachment removed to protect patient identity). It seems like acute dermatitis perhaps allergic or irritant. I suggest you apply Flutibact ointment (Fluticasone propionate and Mupirocin) twice daily. Avoid diapers for a few days. Also, give syrup Phenergan (Promethazine) half teaspoon twice daily.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Your advice is highly appreciated.
