Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thanks for replying.
It is only on the left side. This is the first time I am experiencing something like this. I did not get any threading, waxing or facial done. I drink beer and I smoke. It has been two days since it started. I also have viral warts on my face. I am attaching a picture of the itchiness as well as this.
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I have seen the pictures (attachment removed to protect patient identity). The redness on the cheeks looks like an allergic reaction. I suggest applying Desowen cream (Desonide) once daily for three days. It will reduce the itching and redness. As it is a topical steroid, do not over use it. Warts on the face should be electrocauterized. Please visit a dermatologist for the same. If not removed, it can increase in number.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
Is electrocauterization an expensive treatment?
Thanks.
Hello,

I understand your concern.
It is not very expensive. The cost varies from one practitioner to another. It is done in most of the private clinics.
I hope this information will help you.
