Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

From the past one week, I have itching problem in my arm area. It itches more and more and red round patches have become prominent. It is very humid here. Please suggest me.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have seen your images (attachment removed to protect patient identity). The diagnosis is polymorphous light eruption (PMLE). It is UV rays induced skin allergy. So, main precaution is sun protection.

The treatment involves tablet Wysolone 10 mg once daily after breakfast for 15 days, tablet Levocetirizine twice a day, Sunhalt or Sunheal or Photoban or Photostable locally apply three times a day on all exposed areas, Momate cream (Mometasone) once daily on spots only at night. This is for 15 days. If it improves, continue sunscreen for long. If it develops again, you can use Momate on and off.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
