Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 24-year-old female, and I do not have any history of chronic disease, or take any medications currently. Yesterday morning I woke up with rashes all over my upper legs and buttocks. I had sex with my fiance the night before, and did not take a shower later. We had been having sex for the past two years, but take a shower after it. The only explanation I could find is that I am allergic to semen, because the area with red bumps that itch corresponds to, is where the cum had made contact with, my lower buttocks and upper legs.
I do not see what else it could be. Some had fallen on the sheet on which I slept overnight, which could have made things worse. I changed the layer yesterday morning. I do not see what else it could be, because I have not been anywhere strange lately, nor eaten any something different. Please advise me on what I should do.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
For the rashes, you could use some antiallergics like Levocetirizine or CPM (Chlorpheniramine). However, you should consider if you have been allergic to semen, that you have been having sex since two years. Allergies do not develop overnight, there could be a history.
Concentrate more around the surroundings, your food, your clothes, your washing powder, etc. for allergens. Also, send me a photograph of the rash so that I can differentiate it accurately from other conditions.
I hope that you get your answer.
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thank you.
