Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got a bump on my finger filled with pure white liquid, and it does not look like any infection. My body is very hot, and if I check the temperature, it is showing normal. Why?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Suppose it is a single lesion with no other lesions. In that case, it is more likely pompholyx (dyshidrotic eczema), a kind of vesicular eczema, which can sometimes present like this and not diffuse. Fever with multiple such lesions and redness can be varicella. But if it is only a single lesion without associated local or systemic symptoms, better to observe for some time. Is it itchy, or do you have any other symptoms?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have no itching or any other symptoms. Two weeks before I got one bump like this, I popped it out. When I squeezed it, clear fluid came out, and it got normal with a small mark. Whenever it comes, it is just a single lesion that is too small.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. There is nothing to worry about it right now. You just keep your hands well moisturized.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
