Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have probably seborrheic capitis (an eczema). I suggest Ketoconazole shampoo on alternate days. Keep in contact with the scalp for 7 to 10 minutes in each application and continue it for three to six months. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the treatment with consent.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your answer.

I have another doubt. Will shaving my head help in some way?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

No, shaving does not help you to prevent hair fall. But, it may help you in other ways. That means it will be easier to apply shampoo directly over the skin of the head and after all, it is the disease of the skin.

Thank you.
