Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. According to your statement, you are suffering from scrotal discomfort with severe itching. It can occur due to fungal infection. It occurs due to poor hygiene or sweating. It can also occur due to sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea, chlamydia, and herpes. You can apply antifungal cream like Clotrimazole and steroid cream like Hydrocortisone twice daily on the affected area to get healed.

Thank you docotr,

I am attaching the picture of the affected area.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Your picture is not clear (attachment removed to protect patient identity). Maintain your personal hygiene. Keep the area dry. You can apply Clotrimazole antifungal cream USP 1% on the affected area twice daily, Cortizone 10, and Hydrocortisone cream. Use these creams to get healed.

Thank you doctor,

I need to take them one at a time or both. I have attached two other pictures.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can use Cortizone 10 to its maximum strength and Hydrocortisone cream can be used for itching. It is a mild topical steroid and it helps to reduce itching and inflammation present on the skin. You can take tablet Lamisil (Terbinafine) 250 mg once daily for two to four weeks. You can also use Lamisil cream on the affected area two to three times daily to get cured. It can also be used along with Clotrimazole cream on the affected area and try to keep the area dry.

Thank you doctor,

I cannot get Lamisil. Can I manage my condition by using a Hydrocortisone tablet and Clotrimazole cream?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can take tablet Hydrocortisone 10 mg daily in the morning after taking food for seven days. Continue taking your current medications along with it.
