Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

For the past 3 months, I had a leg injury and at that time I was not able to move my leg. After one day I realized a swelling in my groin area which was a little painful. After that, the pain went away and after a few days, I also faced lower back pain on the same leg side. Sometimes it looks like swollen lymph nodes but I am totally confused about what is it. Also swelling is still the same not more not less it is the same as it was 3 months ago and it is not movable and a little hard it looks like a swollen nerve.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

There are a few possibilities that could explain your symptoms. It is possible that the leg injury and the subsequent walking could have caused inflammation in your groin area and lower back. The swelling could be due to a swollen lymph node or a swollen nerve. It is also possible that there could be an underlying infection causing the swelling. Since you already visited a GP and the swelling has not improved, it might be a good idea to follow up with them. They may want to perform a physical examination, order some tests, or refer you to a specialist to further investigate the cause of the swelling and the lower back pain. It is important to communicate any changes in your symptoms and any concerns you have to your healthcare provider so that they can provide appropriate guidance and treatment. Chymoral is an enzyme-based medication that is commonly used to reduce inflammation and swelling. The recommended dose of Chymoral Forte can vary depending on the individual's condition and the advice of their healthcare provider. However, the usual recommended dosage for adults is 1 tablet three times a day, preferably after meals. Should help bring down the inflammation. But I highly recommend a doctor's visit.

I hope this helps.
